Clinical Usefulness of Visualizing Mental Representations of Self through Reverse Correlation Method to Assess Depression and Anxiety

The purpose of this study is to validate reverse correlation (RC) method to visualize mental representations of self and examine their relationships with depression and anxiety. Our results revealed that valence of visualized self-images can be utilized to examine depressive symptomatology and trait anxiety.
