The Relationship between Depressive Symptoms and Bulimic Symptoms Among Female College Students: The Role of Emotion Regulation

The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the relationship between depressive symptoms and bulimic symptoms may be mediated by variations in individuals’ emotion dysregulation. The findings suggest that depressive symptoms may be an antecedent of later bulimic symptoms, and emotion dysregulation may fully mediate such association.
