The Interaction of Body Talk and Body Dissatisfaction on Disordered Eating Among Adolescent Boys

This research examined the moderating role of body dissatisfaction in the relationship between negative body talk and disordered eating in adolescent boys. Participants completed questionnaires that assessed eating attitude, body attitude, and body talk. Results showed that body dissatisfaction moderated the relationship between negative body talk and disordered eating.
