Abstract
Perceptions of warmth and competence were examined as a function of ethnicity of target names. Overall, Caucasians were rated highest in warmth and Asians were rated highest in competence, with African Americans and Hispanics being rated similarly on both. Name ethnicity does have an effect on how we view others.
