Abstract
We conducted a meta-scientific review of the evidential credibility for empirically supported treatments (ESTs). We evaluated ~450 clinical trials cited in support of more than 70 ESTs. Our analyses indicated ~20% of ESTs were consistently strong across statistical metrics, while ~50% were weak across most metrics.
