When Rejected Relationship Status Is an Indicator for Likelihood of Seeking a New Relationship

Abstract
Participants watched a simulated dating app requested a date and experienced different rejection conditions (comparative – Have better date, inadequate – Never date you and chance - busy that night). Inadequate rejections caused the most retrograde recall. Current relationship status was a predictor for whether participants wanted a new relationship.
