Predictors and Mediators of Eating Disorder Psychopathology: Co-Occurring Conditions in Individuals with Eating Disorders

In a sample of 95 adult participants with eating disorders (ED), we examined associations between personality pathology, ED symptoms, ADHD, and other adverse psychological outcomes. ADHD was significantly positively correlated with ED symptoms. ADHD, depressive, and social phobia symptoms significantly partially mediated the relation between personality pathology and ED symptoms.
