Identifying the Contribution of Therapeutic Processes in Combination Treatment of Antidepressants with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression

Models of patient prognosis were applied to patients receiving combination treatment of antidepressants plus CBT. Predicted prognoses were then correlated with in-session therapeutic technique use. The modeling of patient prognosis allows marginally better predictive accuracy in evaluating the effect of therapeutic technique compared to ordinary models of patient symptom scores.
