Abstract

An injustice standard is the amount of evidence of inequality needed to conclude that gender inequality is unfair to women. When confronted with clear information about men’s high standards (versus no information), women reported decreased gender identification, which predicted lower perceived ingroup action support, which reduced their collective action intentions.
