Abstract
Preadolescent attachment security and cognitive empathy, but not observed parent-preadolescent collaborative decision making (CDM), were significantly related to preadolescent conduct problems (CP)(N=112). Cognitive empathy did not moderate the relation between CDM and CP. Results suggest the importance of addressing empathy and attachment security when working with preadolescents experiencing CP.
