Abstract
The possible correlations between global vs. local processing of text information and interhemispheric transfer tasks (IHT) were explored. College students read expository texts varying in global relations and completed two IHT tasks. Comprehension of global relations in the text was not dependent on ability to perform other interhemispheric transfer tasks.
