- Grace Lena

Abstract
Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by communication abnormalities both verbal and nonverbal. I hypothesized that competition in children with ASD would increase communication and teamwork with others. Using a tower building game, we found that children with ASD are more likely to communicate when facing competitive situations requiring teamwork.
