Abstract
This study evaluated the role of neighborhood disadvantage in trauma/grief symptoms in youth at an outpatient clinic. Results suggest youth exposed to both neighborhood crime and poverty may experience greater numbers of traumatic events, but only those living in high crime areas report higher maladaptive trauma and grief outcomes.
