Abstract
This study investigates how different cognitive processes are related to the experience of awe and need for accommodation by exploring the relationship between self-reflection, self-insight, and introspection. Contrary to our hypotheses, both self-reflection and self-insight were not significant predictors of awe. Introspection was found to be a predictor of awe.
