Abstract
The impact of stress mindset on stress, well-being and academic performance was examined in 245 college athletes and musicians. We found that a “stress-is-enhancing” mindset improves the measured outcome variables. Student athletes benefit most from employing this positive stress mindset. Using a “stress-is-enhancing” mindset is an effective stress management strategy.
