Driving the Extended Phenotype: Automobile Appearance Influences Life History Attributions of Owners

Results demonstrate that life history attributions of car owners are influenced by car appearance. Participants rated the owner of the more aggressive appearing car as higher in mating effort, lower in parental effort, more interested in brief sexual affairs, and less interested in long-term committed romantic relationships.
