Targets and Non-Targets in ERP-Based Complex Trial Protocol (CTP) Improve CIT Effect in Evaluation of Memory Deficit and Malingering

This study investigates how the presence or absence of target/non-target stimuli in the CTP affects the test. Two groups: 1) target/non-targets were presented; 2) target/non-targets were absent. Results: the original CTP with target and non-target stimuli produced superior detection of deception and malingering.
