Abstract
Consistent with mood-as-information theory and affect-priming theory, affective valence was positively associated with expectancy and goal level judgments. Contrary to expectations, findings do not support the moderating effect of affective arousal as the coefficients of activated and deactivated affective states did not differ in their association with study outcomes.
