Effect of Cognitive Demand during Incubation on Group Divergent Thinking Tasks

Abstract
Leaving a hard task for a while usually enhances later performance, which is known as the incubation effect. In three experiments, we examined whether the level of cognitive demand required to complete a task during the incubation period had an effect on later creativity performance in dyads.
