Adolescents’ Perceptions of Romantic Pursuit Behaviors

This research examined adolescents’ perceptions of appropriate behavior when pursuing a non-reciprocated romantic relationship. Males believed it was more ok to engage in pursuit behaviors than females and behaviors were seen as more appropriate when considering a male pursuer. Overall, adolescents did not feel the pursuer should pursue the target.
