Is Altered Default Mode Network Connectivity Associated with Subjective Memory Complaints and Memory Accuracy across the Adult Life Span?

This study investigated the effects of SMCs on within DMN connectivity, within MVN connectivity, between DMN-MVN connectivity, and episodic memory performance. Significant associations were found in within DMN connectivity, between DMN-MVN connectivity, and memory. These findings suggested that SMCs could serve as a behavioral marker of preclinical dementias.
