Abstract
This study examines whether emotion dysregulation mediates the association between unsupportive parent emotion socialization and avoidant personality disorder problems in emerging adults. We found that emotion dysregulation fully mediated the associations for punishment and magnification, and only partially mediated the associations for reward and neglect on avoidant personality disorder problems.
