Text Analysis of Four Professional Ethics Codes Reveals Differences within and between Professions

Research has suggested that professionals will defer to the ethics codes of their professional association. We used text analysis software to examine differences between ethics codes from four different professional organizations. Applying the same framework of ethical principles to each, results revealed differences related to justice, integrity, competence, and utility.
