Abstract

Existing research has documented an unintentional pro-Black bias in academic decision-making. We extended this work by examining racial bias in a different domain, criminal sentencing decisions, and found no evidence of racial bias. These results highlight the need for future work examining the context-dependency of intergroup bias.
