Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine if child emotion regulation moderates the relation between parenting skills and externalizing behaviors in PCIT, using a pre- post-treatment design. Change in ER was found to moderate change in “Do Skills” and change in externalizing problems, specifically for greater increases in ER.
