The Significant Impact of PTSD Symptoms on Domestic Violence-Related Threat Perception in Women Using Vignettes
- Alexandra Rehovsky

Abstract
This study investigated whether PTSD symptoms and IPV history predicted threat perception hinderance. Using a within-subjects design, participants reacted to five vignettes representing varied levels of threat severity within a relationship. Hierarchical regression and analysis of variance showed that IPV histories and PTSD symptoms contributed significantly to threat perception hinderance.
