Abstract

Specific parenting behaviors were identified to have a notable influence on attachment style and emotional intelligence (EI). Additionally, parenting behaviors and EI have important implications for anticipated future parenting. The utility of a new measure of anticipated future parenting currently under development utilized by this study will be discussed.
