Abstract
Research demonstrates that certain study strategies are more effective than others for enhancing memory. We surveyed 45 college instructors about their knowledge of study strategies. Participants demonstrated awareness of effective study strategies; however, they reported recommending a mix of effective and ineffective strategies to their students.
