Abstract
Our tendency to different emotional experiences (i.e., affectivity), choice of action (i.e., regulatory mode), and self-awareness (i.e., character) allows us to be resilient in adverse circumstances, such as, emotional labor. Indeed, Swedish clergy’s resilience was related (R2 = .53) to their positive and negative affect, locomotion, and self-directedness.
