Abstract
Two vignette-based studies examined whether there is a victim-blame bias dependent on the type of victimization (sexual assault, physical assault, or theft) utilizing two different measures: self-report and implicit causal attribution statements. We did not find evidence that rape survivors are blamed any more than other crime victims.
