Sexual Narcissim Predicts Using Sex to Cope and Other Sexual Motives

Research shows there are motives that encourage sexual behaviors. Our study examined whether individuals who score high in sexual narcissism use sex for specific motives. We found that individuals high in narcissism used sex to enhance self-confidence, experience good physical feelings, gain peer approval, and cope with negative emotions.
