Myth Workshops: An Active Learning Strategy to Combat Falsehoods with Truth

As academics we pursue truth and challenge false claims, and we transmit these skills and values to our students. Incorporating myth workshops in college courses can help achieve this goal. This active learning assignment was designed to support learning and promote skill development through “learning by teaching” and metacognition.
