Learning from Failure Moderates the Relationship between Goal Orientation and Job Search Behaviour

The aim of this study was to integrate goal orientation (GO) with self-regulation to explain job search behaviour and subsequent employment success. Results showed that while Go predicted job search intensity, which in turn predicted the number of interviews, offers, and employment status, learning from failure also moderated the process.
