Increased Age Predicts Severe Weather Preparedness but Not Adherence to Evacuation Orders

The current study fills gaps in the literature by examining the relationship between age, severe weather phobia, and severe weather preparedness. The results indicated that the older the individual, the more likely they were to be prepared for severe weather. However, age did not predict evacuation adherence.
