Evaluating Percent Change in Symptom Severity Relative to Post-Treatment Severity, Absolute Change, or Their Combination in the Ability to Reflect Patients’ Judgments of Satisfaction Following Treatment for Depression

The present study compares the ability of a percent change metric, relative to popular dual threshold metrics that consider separately post-treatment symptom severity and the magnitude of change, to account for judgments made by persons with histories of depression about the value of the change.
