Does Morality Matter? Assessing the Moderating Effects of Moral Identity on the Relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Counterproductive Work Behavior

In the present study, we assessed the moderating effects of moral identity on the relationships between organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and counterproductive work behavior (CWB). Significant interaction effects were observed, such that higher levels of symbolization and lower levels of internalization enhanced the OCB to CWB relationship.
