Abstract
People moving to a new culture have to learn local norms of social interaction. Using lab-based tasks to mimic intercultural interactions, this research identified three antecedents of cultural-learning. People with greater sense of power, stronger national identity, and growth-mindset about cultural-learning are all faster at learning foreign norms from feedback.
