Gustatory Perception and Flavor Preferences in Marmoset Monkeys (Callithrix jacchus)

The evolution of dietary behavior is somewhat related to the evolution of gustatory traits in mammals. In this research we intended to explore whether we can use an operant-task to measure psychophysical value of sweetness flavor and how it correlates to choice allocation of marmoset monkeys.
