Parental Mental Health, Self Efficacy, and the Mediating Role of Stress

Abstract
This study examined the mediating role of perceived stress on the relation between parental mental health and parental self-efficacy. Results show that parent-reported mental health symptoms were associated with self-efficacy through increased stress that, in turn was associated with decreased parental self-efficacy.
