Abstract
Using a sequential-explanatory mixed methods design, the current study examines the moderating role of coping mechanisms between racial microaggressions and mental health. Data from preliminary interviews suggest that there is a relationship between an individual’s experience of microaggressions, coping strategies, and mental health.
