Abstract

MANCOVA revealed that ventral DMN volume was significantly larger in children with high versus low trait dissociation after controlling for trauma. Follow-up ANCOVAs found the strongest differences in the precuneui. Trait dissociation includes cognitive disruptions in memory and self-awareness, which are functions of the precuneui and risk factors for psychopathology.
