Abstract

Prior research has shown an association between rumination and poor sleep quality. Our bootstrapped moderation analysis of over 1,000 participants demonstrated that the strength of this relationship is dependent on the richness of one’s autobiographical memory: higher levels of autobiographical memory amplify the rumination - sleep quality association.
