Mental and Behavioral Health Outcomes of Recidivating Adolescents

There is little research on the association between mental and behavioral health outcomes and escalation of offense severity. This study hypothesized that justice-involved youth who escalate from a misdemeanor to a felony offense score higher on the MAYSI scales. Results suggested only a significant difference for the Thought Disturbances scale.
