Abstract
This study examined physiological correlates of peritraumatic dissociation and their role in predicting post-trauma outcomes. Our findings indicate that post-trauma resting heart rate is associated with the experience of peritraumatic dissociation, is predictive of PTSD symptomatology, and is moderated by a past history of trauma. Further investigation is warranted.
