College Students’ Views of in-Class Use (and Misuse) of Personal Mobile Devices

Abstract
Undergraduates (N=187) in an Introductory Psychology course reported their attitudes towards in-class use of personal devices via online questionnaires. Students who performed worse on quizzes embedded in homework throughout the semester reported more distractions from in-class use of personal mobile devices at the end of the semester.
