Social-Media Use and Self-Perceived Social Connectedness Among Deployed Service Members

This study aimed to examine whether high social media use among deployed military personnel predicts loneliness and self-perceived social connectedness. Our results highlight social media use as a moderator of social isolation in deployed military members.
