The Lived Experience of Male Caregivers to Aging Family Members

The current study examined the lived experiences of male caregivers to aging family members. Participants described experiences related to topics such as stress experience, personally defining stress, lives put on hold, shifting focus due to caregiving, feelings of selfishness, feeling overwhelmed, relationships with others, time, and caregiving in the future.
