Abstract

This study examined how women's attractiveness, Islamic headdresses, and skin color affected participants social distance and anxiety levels. In addition, the participants political orientation and religiosity were included when looking at the effect. Most of the hypothesis were not supported, but attractiveness differed significantly for both skin color and headdress.
