Abstract
Over 1,300 freshman high-school students were administered the Adverse Childhood Experiences Scale (ACES). Regression analysis of demographic variables indicated that females and African-American students reported greater adverse experiences and mother’s education level was inversely associated with ACES scores. Frequencies of ACES are reported by gender and ethnicity.
