Messages Addressing Views on Aging Increase Interest in Physical Activities at Senior Centers

Abstract
Among senior center attendees, the effectiveness of messages addressing perceptions of aging to promote interest in physically active programs varied by age. Participants age 72+ who read aging messages reported greater likelihood of attending physical activities compared to the control group; however, there was no effect for younger participants.
